    "content": "Government policy to look after out aged people. It is in order for Members of Parliament, including myself, to recognize the fact that we, in Kenya, are struggling with food production and improvement of our health facilities. As we do that, the number of old people will increase. The number will increase when we have better medical services and when we supply food to every Kenyan. Therefore, as we debate and pass this Motion, we should bear in mind that the figure of Kshs1,800 is not going to be static. It will increase. I know that we, in Government, have many challenges that require money. However, at the moment, I would like to add my voice on this. This is a very good idea. It is a social service that is given all over the world. Many countries, especially the so-called developed countries, have social services that look after the aged. Kenya is on the way there. It is high time that we recognize members of the society that require assistance. I support the Motion."
