    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support the Motion because in this country, microfinance institutions have a role to play in alleviating poverty. As we all know, more than 50 per cent of Kenyans live below the poverty line. They live on less than a dollar a day. Therefore the areas of loaning, saving, insurance and training of people need a lot of support. We recently saw the Jubilee Government come with the Uwezo Fund.
