For a while I think we have realised as a country that the law that is in place governing and guiding the microfinance institutions has not been sufficient or adequate to address all the challenges affecting and facing the microfinance institutions. Even though this law has attempted to correct some or the issues that have been encountered previously, still a lot needs to be done to make sure that we have proper regulations to guide and steer the microfinance institutions.
