Is it in order for the Senate to vote on a superfluous amendment because Section 7 of the Transition to Devolved Government Act already obligates the authority to make an inventory of the assets and liabilities of the local governments? Therefore, to the extent that this superfluous amendment actually defeats the purpose of the Motion, I think we should not vote on it. If you want us to debate on it, I am prepared to make more submissions on why it is superfluous. Is it in order for us to do that?"
