    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to seek guidance from the Chair. There is an invitation I have received from the Commission for the Implementation of the Constitution (CIC). I believe every hon. Senator has received such an invitation for a meeting scheduled sometime in the coming week. Governors have also been invited. Whereas there is nothing wrong with hon. Senators and Governors meeting, but is it in order to get such an invitation from the CIC or other Government body with no reference to the Senate? On behalf of other hon. Senators, I wish to know whether this was done in consultation with the Chair or the Senate. I believe that some of these bodies should be dealing with us through the committees that we will constitute. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
