    "content": "Sen. Murungi): Mr. Speaker, Sir, it was your duty as an MP to go and harass those who were in offices to make sure that resources move to your constituency. You were moving all over the world not knowing what is in your backyard. You could not go for resources. Let us not complain about what we did not do but focus on what we are going to do, now that wananchi have given us opportunities to uplift them from poverty. Once again, let me say that, as Senate, we have a special responsibility to correct any historical injustices. We have a historic responsibility to make our counties great, we have a historical responsibility to make sure that all these issues we are complaining about are done but we should not rest. We should not allow the civil servants to undermine this great system which is now entrenched in our Constitution. I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity."
