The savers in these banks are hawkers and peasants, people who do small businesses. You will hear a bank pronouncing, at the end of the year, a profit of Kshs17 billion. This is money collected from small enterprises like Small Micro Finance Enterprises (SMEs). This is a matter that has to be dealt with firmly."
