I want to join hands in requesting that you rein in the offices that need to bring constitutional amendment Bills so that we do not get ambushed and be given very little time and then be held responsible for the quality of those Acts that will come out. In addition to that I would like to raise a matter on the quality of the Executive’s legislative proposals to this House. Hon. Millie and I have been looking at the Bills which have been coming from the Executive and we are concerned about their quality. We have reviewed 37 typographical errors in one Bill. How can the Leader of the Majority Party continue signing Bills of such poor quality from the Executive, whereas Private Members Bills have far less typographical errors?"
