Temporary Deputy Speaker, this Bill also seeks to save Kenya from falling into pitfalls that other countries in Africa, and, indeed, the world, have fallen into, as a result of discovering many minerals. By this I mean they have faced environmental degradation and political, economic and social instability of every kind. This Bill ideally has brought up a situation which is going to result in some sort of sanity in this particular sector."
