    "content": "This is the Board and there is no need for the Board to be taken to the National Assembly for approval. Members of boards, like in parastatals, are appointed by the Cabinet Secretary. It is the President who appoints Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers, but the board members are normally appointed by the Cabinet Secretary while he looks at the regional and gender balances as per the Constitution. So, the approval of the National Assembly for the simple Board members, which has not been there for any other board or parastatal, makes no sense."
