    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to debate the Mining Bill. As a Member of the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, we have dealt with this Bill quite extensively. I want to raise a few points in regard to this Bill. One, on royalties and the sharing of royalties payable to the Government and the county governments, we will be proposing very agreeable sharing formula. I also want to take this opportunity to appeal to Members not to become very local in their treatment of the Mining Bill. I know hon.
