Deputy Speaker, on farm activities such as crop spray and the content of such sprays is regulated by the Kenya Plant Health Protection Services which also monitors pesticide residues in crops. As such, the contents of the sprays used are not controlled by WARMA. However, whenever incidences of pollution from pesticide spillage or wrong timing in application are detected, WARMA works with the relevant agencies to agree and take remedial measures.
