"content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. Although I am a man, I also represent women from my constituency. This is a noble thing and I want to thank hon. Nyokabi for bringing up this issue. I have never known that something like that takes place in our primary schools where I come from. I want to seek the following clarifications. First, is the Government providing money for sanitary pads the same way it does with money to old people and other vulnerable groups or is it giving the sanitary pads so that we can follow that up in our constituency? Secondly, apart from poverty, some of those things are new and are unknown where I come from. Is there any special consideration to those areas because the word “sanitary” means a lot to some of us? It also means a lot to the public health of our country. Is there any awareness programme or special consideration for areas like pastoralists areas where some of those things are unknown?
