    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the Mover mentioned that the temperatures have moved by 2 degrees and this is worrying. I was just wondering in my mind that if we allow these temperatures to move up I think we will be having disasters and this is quite possible. If we just sit back and do nothing about it, it is very possible that slowly and surely the temperatures will keep increasing. We get to read that even some of the areas that are desert now were at one stage or another fairly productive regions but over time and maybe through lack of the sort of measures that we envisage through this Bill, they have now become deserts and they are expanding. So, we must be prepared to do anything that we can to mitigate and also ensure reduction of carbon emissions."
