In Nyatike Constituency, training venues are at St. Andrews in Sori, Karungu Division, where soccer boys and girls, athletics boys and girls, netball for girls and volleyball for boys and girls are taught; At Bondi in Muhuru Division soccer for boys and girls is taught. Other centres in Nyatike Constituency are Olasi in Kale Division for soccer. That is boys and girls and Bondi in Muhuru Division for soccer boys only. The Ministry is further informed that in the current financial year the County Government of Migori has set aside funds to develop a sports academy with sports facilities and a hostel at Macalder. The academy will cost approximately Kshs10 million.
