    "content": "2014: The Kenya Police Training College, Kiganjo; the General Service Unit Training College and the Administration Police Training College, Embakasi. The intervening period between the recruitment date, that is, 14th July, 2014 and 3rd October, 2014, was to allow the Commission to audit and vet all the results and reports from the 289 recruitment centres and also to review all concerns from the stakeholders and the members of the public regarding the recruitment exercise. In the meantime, an inter-agency committee, which includes the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA), has been constituted to fast-track the audit exercise with the view to investigating all the reported malpractices and report back to the Commission by 4th August, 2014. The outcome of this investigation will inform the Commission on the next cause of action which will include cancellation of results and a repeat of the exercise in centres where there is adequate proof that the exercise was not above board. In addition, those officers found to have been involved in the malpractices and corruption will be disciplined and prosecuted. This is, therefore, to assure the House and the country that the reporting date is on 3rd October, 2014."
