"content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, they ask whether there was an effect in the reduction measures that were announced by the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister and, of course, confirmed by the Ministry. I said in my Statement that the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), which is the body that is charged with determining the prices as per what happens in the world market will make their prices known in another two days and not even 15 days. Every 15th day of the month or thereabouts, they are supposed to release the new prices because the pricing formula is dependent on the oil price that is available in the world market. In this situation, definitely, we expect the announcement by the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister to be factored in and I have no doubt that it will be factored in the price of petroleum products.
