(iii) Could the Chairperson confirm that out of the 6,000 households affected by the violence in Kisii and Nyamira counties, only a few received ex gratia payment and none received compensation for loss of properties and homes? Pursuant to the provisions of Prevention, Protection and Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons and Affected Communities Act, 2012, what action has the coordination committee taken to ensure registration of IDPs including those in Nyamira County and ensure that protection and assistance is accorded to them by the funds set up by Section 15 of the said Act?"
