    "content": "Hon. Members, including the Member for Kilifi North, I can see the House has intentions of acknowledging your entry. I wish to convey a petition. Pursuant to Standing Order No.225(2)(b), I have a petition to report to the House. The petition is signed by the representatives of Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, International Commission of Jurists, Kenya Chapter, Independent Medico- Legal Unit, National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders and Federation of Women Lawyers of Kenya, (FIDA). The petitioners are praying that the National Assembly establishes a Parliamentary Select Committee to investigate recent incidents of insecurity in Kenya and make recommendations to forestall such further acts. Hon. Members, the petition stands committed to the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security for consideration. The Committee is requested to consider the petition and report its findings to the petitioners and the House in accordance with Standing Order No.227(2)."
