    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. Allow me to also oppose this effort to reduce the publication period by four days. Kenyans out there place a lot of trust in this House. This noble House has become a House of procrastinators. We have timelines and guidelines within which to perform our roles. I do not see a reason why, with all due respect to the Chair of the CIOC, we need to reduce the number of days. We need to wake up as a House. Everybody has a lot of trust and expectations in this House. So, reducing the number of days just because we want to rush and go on recess or beat the deadline of 27th August does not make sense."
