    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. I also rise to support this Report. We as Members of the Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs have never seen the kind of lobbying that was done. Not just to Members of this Committee by the public, but also by Members of this House. There was lobbying for the Committee to find favour with some of the applicants, but we stood firm. We agreed from the outset that we were not to have any interests as Members of the Committee. We shall not also allow ourselves to be lobbied by any Member of this House or members of the public in general. Having said that, we know that this Commission should have come into being probably in 1963, and now that we stayed for a period of nine months without this Commission--- I was a little worried when hon. Ng’ongo stood and appeared to want to impede debate on this Report. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
