"content": "there are watching, therefore, how we treat the people we claim to represent and if, therefore, the Petitions will be dismissed and treated as rags. I have less than five minutes and I cannot say much. But what are we called to do in this House? Article 251 of the Constitution, particularly Sub-section 3, says that we shall consider the Petition and if satisfied that it discloses a ground under Clause 1, shall send the Petition to the President. We are not called to disband the IEBC. We are not called to even remove those people right now. All we are called to do right now is look at the Petition that has been presented to us by a member of this nation and if we think that there is even a simple evidence or what the lawyers call prima facie, then we can send the Petition to the President who, therefore, commences the process of appointing a tribunal. This is what we are here for."
