    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. I wish to put in my words regarding this particular Bill, more so on the Political Parties Act. Accepting the amendments here is basically allowing the player, who is the President to single-handedly choose a person and he is meant to be neutral. If we allow that, it will be a recipe for chaos in this country. I think it is important that the President accepts the names that were sent to be gazetted. Hon. Speaker, regarding the Criminal Procedure Code, we need to be very careful in what we are planning do. The amendments in the Bill allow the police officer who has placed a person under arrest a lot of leeway and that is going to send this country back to where we were. Thank you very much, hon.
