I have sought a Statement on an audit of Government buildings across the country, both in the national Government and the county governments because we are aware that there are many buildings which are idle while parastatals, Ministries and county governments are either busy buying buildings or are planning to construct them while others are already constructing them. In the spirit of saving this country a lot of resources, we want an audit of all the buildings and the status or level of usage, so that The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
