Knowing that it has been a consultative decision as the Senator has said, I think it is only wise for us to support this amendment. Samburu being a neighbour to Laikipia County, I am aware that these discussions even took place before we went into the general elections and there was that pull and push about Rumuruti and Nanyuki. I know that the people of Laikipia would really feel safer in Rumuruti in terms of accessing services since that is more central to the people of Laikipia County. I support."
