Members, like I was saying earlier on it is within the functions of a Departmental Committee to investigate, inquire into and report on all matters relating to the mandate, management, activities, administration, operations and estimates of the assigned Ministries and departments. It is in the context of our Standing Order No.216 that I have directed that the Departmental Committee on Lands undertakes an investigation relating to the matters that have been raised by hon. Pukose and bring a report to this House."
