    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, finally, as we look at the proposed tax measures, I want to remind the House about the East African Community Treaty. We are a member of a trading bloc with other countries and we have signed a treaty. One of the things that we need to consider, and this is something that the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade needs to look at, is to ensure that we harmonize our taxes with the taxes of the other countries within the region."
