    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish I had an extra ambulance, which is good enough to serve Marsabit District Hospital. As I said in my answer, we had an ambulance there, but it broke down, and we must wait until the new financial year to get resources to buy a good enough ambulance for Marsabit District Hospital. As I speak, there is a shortage of ambulances nationally. What we need to do is to restructure ambulatory services, and not just to make sure that ambulances are placed in particular places. If we restructure the ambulatory services and we have the National Ambulatory and Emergency Authority, which will also have access to private ambulances; through GPS, we shall solve the problem. The proposal that the hon. Member has made is not feasible now because the ambulances are not available. Secondly, we better approach it from the other way, because that will be much more long lasting and will solve problems on a much more permanent basis."
