"content": "So, really, I am urging - and I think other Members before me have said so - the Controller of Budget - and her office is independent by the way--- I think that independence includes refusing to be directed un-procedurally by anybody else, including even this House. I would urge the Controller of Budget that when that Motion reaches her desk, let us look at it objectively. But it would be fundamentally wrong that whatever one thinks of a Governor in any county, to deny county money that is going to help children in schools; money that is going to help women and youth, merely because a governor has not appeared before the Senate to answer to a particular question. With those remarks and considering that many Members also want to contribute."
