The former districts or sub- counties were created without any proper consideration; a President or a Prime Minister would go somewhere and say that the place was then a district. I am seeking clarification from the Chair whether there are plans on the part of the Government to gazette all existing constituencies as sub- counties. I think that is the way to go, and not have each person who has a new constituency seeking to have it gazette as a sub-county. May we have a deadline by which all the constituencies we represent will become sub-counties?"
