    "content": "Hon. Nassir, the last part of the Statement, on the first page; suggests that there is a Draft National Policy on community policing currently undergoing validation. Once the Executive is through with the exercise, the draft policy will have to come to this House. It is important that before certain Bills with significant impact on the country are passed, the House expresses itself on the policy aspect behind them. Both you and the Committee Chairman did not look at the first paragraph of the Statement. It creates something which is not correct. It says:- “The objective of this initiative is to give effect to Chapter 244(e) of the Constitution”."
