    "content": "When you look at definitions especially when it comes to protection of a spouse and any children or other dependant persons within that family fraternity, my difficulties are when it comes to defining the crimes therein. Section 3 talks of the meaning of “violence” and then goes on to talk of abuses. Some of the abuses indicated there, hon. Speaker, are already described by other laws; the Penal Code and the Sexual Offences Act. So, in my submission, there is a lot of repetition including offences such as incest and other offences which are already in the law.
