    "content": "I just want to point a few things very briefly as I contribute to this Bill. In Clause 3, the Bill states what “violence” means. There are lots of things under this list which are so ambiguous that they can be subject to abuse. We must frame some of these provisions well for clarity. There is something called “widow cleansing” and “intimidation”. How would you define “intimidation”? There is also “harassment” and “stalking”. I can be walking around somewhere and somebody may decide to call the police and say “this man has been sitting around me for three hours”, and can be thrown in jail. Let us just look at other things for the purpose of this Bill, under Clause 4. It says that a person shall be deemed to be in a domestic relationship with another person if the person has previously been married to that other person."
