    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to support the Report. As I support, I realise that time is not enough. However, I note that one of the areas that the Committee has observed is that the region is still facing challenges due to non-implementation of the Common Market Protocol. The letter of the law may not be useful if the spirit of the law is not impressed. This would be important. I also note that the report says that to effectively increase the volume of trade, there is need to fully implement the East African Common Market Protocol to enable free movement of people, goods, capital and services.
