(a) I am aware of the 254 IDPs in Githurai who have not been paid Kshs10,000 each, as we have already paid a total of Kshs349 households the sum of Kshs10,000 each. (b) The issue of re-settling of the IDPs does not arise, because we are only dealing with the re-settlement of the IDPs in the 20 camps. The Government intends to finalise the re-settlement of all the profiled 2007/2008 post-election violence IDPs. We hope that we will be able to finish this exercise in 2011. We also hope that there will be no emerging challenges like the ones we have encountered in the last few months."
