This is just to reduce the workload on refund claims of Value Added Tax (VAT) from the Government, and also to make sure that businessmen do not re-plough VAT back into their businesses. On 25B, that is only an explanation. On 25C, this is the one that is dealing with the aviation industry. In the last VAT Bill, we were able to include aircraft below 2000; this is including aircraft between 2000 and 15000 and above. This is so that we can be in line with other countries; it is only in Kenya where we have VAT on aircraft."
