    "content": "As I was saying, there was really no reason why the Government, or the National Treasury, stopped WithholdingTtax; this ensured that VAT collectable or payable actually reached the Kenya Revenue Authority. I support this because usually when there is input and output tax, as the Chairman put it, the difference is just about six per cent. So, it reduces claims. It has the effect of reducing the claims of input tax and at the same time also helping the Government to get money."
