    "content": "First and foremost, I must congratulate the President for nominating those very able Kenyans – men and women. I also must commend the Committee for a job well done, despite all the challenges. I must say that the Committee has done a very good job. Having said that, all those nominees were found suitable, going by the Report and the evidence that is attached. It is very evident that all the nominees were found suitable as per Section 69. Even those who contested, their letters did not meet the threshold that is required. They were cleared by HELB, KRA, and EACC and even by their qualifications. So, in the absence of any specific legislation setting standards or guidelines, I must say the Committee, in its wisdom and jurisdiction, managed to do a very good job. For those they have recommended, I support them. I think they have done a very good job. Before I conclude, I think I must congratulate the President, in particular, for giving us the larger western region Dr. George Masafu. We have Joseph Magut. We have Mr. Isaac Njenga who is from Trans Nzoia. We also have Professor George Godia. I must thank him for giving the western region those nominees. There is Ombete from---"
