Therefore, a legislation that shows how these resources can be shared out preempts this and I want to congratulate the Committee. My last point is on Clause No.23 on the County Benefits Sharing Committee. In sub clause 4, the Committee has advised us to support this Bill where it says; Members of this Committee – you have listed them and I have no problem with that – shall be paid a sitting allowance as it shall be determined by the Salaries and Remunerations Commission (SRC). In conclusion, this must be with the approval of the Senate otherwise these people will pay themselves astronomical allowances that will defeat the process. I strongly support."
