The President did the right thing to request for the convening of the House so that he can share with us and all Kenyans the issues facing him and country at this particular moment. It is, therefore, important to acknowledge this good act. It is also an act of humility from a leader in the face of an uncertain situation where information needs to be shared with the citizens. At the same time, if the State Parties of the African Union gave the indication but this particular Court did not listen to those states that are members to it, it is very unfortunate.
