Temporary Deputy Speaker, on the issue of The Hague, I would like to state that on behalf of the Kirinyaga people whom I represent, we were very clear and categorical that the President would not be tried at The Hague as a President. We were not going to have our Commander-In-Chief tried at The Hague. We are happy to state that the person who was at The Hague was Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and not President Kenyatta. We are happy about it. For those who took the three people to The Hague, I would like to tell them one thing: “That destiny has a way of catching up with you.” If you do something bad to your brother, one time destiny will catch up with you."
