"content": "Secondly, this is a scheme for getting us out of this House. Our competitors are all over the constituencies. They are touring 290 constituencies conducting Harambees here and there, or left, right and centre. It is for this reason that we are also supposed to help our constituents. For example, when there was no Constituencies Development Fund (CDF), if you ask in the history of Nyandarua County, K.K. in particular was the “CDF” of my constituency. I was the one doing the primary schools, secondary schools, churches and health centres from my own resources. It is for that reason that I was elected unanimously. About 90 per cent of the voters said that this is K.K’s time because he has given all he had or 90 per cent of my wealth had gone to the public. I would like to say that 90 per cent of my salary goes to my constituency."
