    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker for also giving me an opportunity to make a very short comment. Although my request was for a debate of a different Motion, I think our side of the coalition has the capacity to whip the Cabinet Secretaries and show them the importance of appearing before the House to answer questions that have been answered by Committee Chairpersons. In any event, it is derogatory for the Cabinet Secretaries to completely disregard the Committee on General Oversight when they know that we are working collectively for the success of the Government. It is also untenable for the CIC to comment or threaten to move to the court. What they would probably do is to proceed very expeditiously and move to the court, and then the matter will be decided on its own merit but not to play rhetoric to the Press. I am of the view that the House must put its foot down led by you, hon. Speaker. We cannot be creating situations for ourselves and then they are disregarded. We will finally appear to be toothless. This is an opportunity we must take. Put our feet down and proceed with what we did in the Committee of the whole House. I thank you."
