The Bill is very timely because it captures the Vision 2030 whereby Kenya envisages to be, at least, the second hub of the capital and securities market in Africa. South Africa is way ahead of us. However, while we are aiming to do that, we need to have the right background. We need to put in place laws which will regulate the security investment analysts. My Chairman has said most of what I would have said and I do not wish to repeat for the sake of it. This Bill is very important because it will raise the bar of professionalism in securities market.
