    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity so that I can respond to some of the issues that were raised by the President in his Speech. The first statement that was made by the President with regard to his attending the case at the ICC is the acknowledgement that this is a judicial process and not a political process. Whether a party, a coalition or the African Union or any other person for that matter feels that there is no merit in the case, the acknowledgement that this is a judicial process is key. I would, therefore, like to urge those who have politicized this matter for the last many years to borrow cue and realize that the court asserted its authority and that none attendance would have had serious consequences notwithstanding our illusion to The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
