"content": "I want to thank Members because most of them have given us good compliments. That shows that my Committee has been very spot on this Bill. The sector we are dealing with is a very crucial one. The financial sector comprises of the banking sector, which everybody knows, has been properly regulated. It has been properly supplied with professionals. The other is the capital markets sector or the securities sector, which has been regulated to the extent of the Capital Markets Authority and the Nairobi Securities Exchange. However, it is pointless to come up with regulations when the professionals in the sector are not qualified or answerable to anybody."
