"content": "Thank you Mr. Speaker, Sir. This afternoon, I want to join fellow Senators in passing our condolences to a departed hero of this country. As I was watching television, something came to my mind. What will I be remembered for in this country? As a leader, what can I do so as to be remembered? This gave me a lesson that in whatever we do, we must work hard to ensure that we are remembered for the good things we do and not for the bad things we have done. We must work hard to ensure that we do good deeds that can lift the generation. This will make others learn from what we leave behind. This will encourage the young generation that is coming after us. I also learnt that despite the country and the coastal people joining the family during this hard time, it was also a lesson that we remain focused. Challenges may come our way but we must have a focused mind despite the opposition. They should not wear us down because at the end of the day if we cannot achieve what we plan to do, then the country is not achieving. We have so many people that depend on us. Academic wise, even though our brother left us, our country still benefits from the material he left behind in terms of the books he wrote.
