    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I also rise to eulogize, pay tribute and send my sincere condolences to the family of the late Prof. Mazrui. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, this is a scholar who built many of us. We celebrate an icon who believed in the African Continent and education as the only way of changing lives. Prof. Mazrui who was born in Mombasa leaves behind a rich legacy which I hope Mombasa County will benefit from and build on. I hope that the county will prioritize education. Prof. Mazrui uplifted Kenya not just in Africa, but even in the international community. For those who studied in Kenyatta University and other universities, his memories will always remain because of the books that he wrote.
