    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. The Parliamentary Service (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bill No. 21 of 2014) is my Bill. The purpose of this Bill is to amend the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) Act so that we can recognise the Senate. This Act was passed when the Senate was not there and we thought that it was good that the PSC creates two streams; one stream to look after the affairs of the National Assembly and the other stream to look after the affairs of the Senate. The Bill was prepared, read for the first time before this House and was committed to the Committee of Legal Affairs and Human Rights of which I am a Member. However, the Committee has not yet taken this Bill through public hearings."
