    "content": "THAT, Pursuant to Standing Order 33(1), I wish to seek leave to move the adjournment of this House for the purpose of discussing the matter concerning the ex parte injunction granted to the Independent Police Oversight Authority (IPOA) restraining the admission of the police recruits to the Kenya Police Training College. Hon. Speaker this move is greatly affecting the capacity of the National Police Service Commission from effectively providing security to citizens of this country due to the shortage of police officers, which the recruits were supposed to bridge the gap. In April 2014, 7,000 police officers graduated from the police training colleges. The recruitment exercise that has been on hold was to add another 10,000 police officers to the police service."
